Shop Labor Rate: $150/hr
Most of our installations are based on a flat rate quoting structure that has been proven over a multitude of installations. While it is generally tied to the labor rate you can count on our estimates to be roughly the same as the final invoice. Our minimum billable time slot is 1 hour.
IFR Recertification: $500
This certification is required by 14 CFR Part 91.411 and consists of testing the altimeter, static system, and altitude encoder correspondence in accordance with the parameters and criteria set forth in 14 CFR Part 43 Appendix E. Our IFR recertification also includes a VFR recertification. This certification is required every 24 calendar months.
VFR Recertification: $235
This certification is required by 14 CFR Part 91.413 and consists of testing the transponder in accordance with the parameters and criteria set forth in 14 CFR Part 43 Appendix F. This certification is required every 24 calendar months.
Garmin Flat Rate Installations:
Dual GI 275 Bundle (ADI + HSI)
$13,000 flat rate installation cost including parts and labor!
What does it include? Two GI 275 ADAHRS units, one backup battery, the GTP 59, and the GMU 11. Labor to install the dual GI 275 system, interface to a required GPS source and audio panel as well as optional interfaces such as the GTX 345 and up to two Nav Radios. It also includes optional removal of the vacuum system. Limitations include but are not limited to the aircraft being on the STC/AML and aircraft GTOW is not greater than 6,000 pounds.
GFC 500 Digital Autopilot
Flat Rate Installation of a GFC 500 Autopilot (Parts and Labor). Does not include an approved AHRS source. The GFC 500 requires a G5, GI 275, or G3X system to be installed.
