About Us

Flight Control Services of Florida, Inc was founded in 1991 by Daniel French. For many years the company operated TransponderRepair.com a mail-in transponder repair service.

In 2024 FCS was acquired by Isaac Maxson founder of Datum Aviation. FCS was relocated that year to their current facility at the J-22 Ranch Airport.

In 2025 with the retirement of Dan French FCS no longer offers component level bench repairs. We have transitioned our services to focus on next generation technology. While we still offer troubleshooting on legacy avionics systems we specialize in retrofit upgrades bringing new technology to old airplanes. This year we added a CNC panel fabrication machine, engraver, and a full powder coat setup enabling us to perform the whole panel upgrade process in house.
